Interesting ships with rich history, military and civil ones, at the Kola Bay of Murmansk.

In the centre – drilling plaform “Arkticheskaya”

Aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov”

Atomic ice-breakers “Vaigach” and “Taimyr”. The crew is about 100 people. One trip lasts for about 4 months.

    “We wonder how they will end…” at least the icebreakers Arktika and Sibir are moored to rot down as they have been decommisioned in 1993 (Sibir) and 2008 (Arktika)…hopefully all fuel elements have already been removed.

      Yes, through that hole into sea… propably…. long time ago, I have plastic model of ice breaker Arctica, it was famous ship back then.

    Many of them look like they are ready to be towed off to Alang for breaking.
