    Time to Cut Antlers

    16
Posted on June 29, 2012 by team

Cutting antlers in Altai happens in May – June. After the cutting they are preserved by boiling or drying to be sold in August-September. Many antlers are exported to South Korea.

All antlers are weighed. Their maximum weight is 22-24 kg, but those weighing 15-16 kg are also considered big. The average weight of antlers is 7-8 kg.

Those stags whose antlers are the smallest are slaughtered.

It’s perhaps still normal in a little town which tries to survive extinction because it hasn’t catched on with evolution yet. If you still need meat, I feel more sorry for your taste and bad cousine.

This is a hard place to live. this may be one of the few ways to earn an income, which I would guess is not that good. I think any reindeer that are slaughtered are eaten.

Maybe a bit more comprehension wouldn’t be out of place

Here we have imperialist humans harvesting life force from the unfortunate trapped deer. Important lesson for those who can see it !

These deer are are raised from a farmed herd. It’s no different than cows or sheep. Don’t be a moron.

That herd seems to be in pretty good condition!

In the U.S., we call cattlemen “cowboys”.

      Are these fellows Deerboys? Elkboys?

Move to the city and get a degree and a real job. That’s called evolution. There is no need to treat another life form that why. It’s barbaric, nothing more. Arguments like from above that hamburgers don’t grow on trees are senseless. Not everybody needs meet to have a good meal. Most people eat meat only in companion with sauces and spices anyway, guess why.

I guess it’s easier for some folks to just go to their local mart and pickup hamburger and not have to think about how it came to be. It somehow clears them.

I dont have a problem with the farming, but why not remove the antlers AFTER killing them?

Live and let die. Some of you need to go hunting, kill something, skin it, quarter it, cook and eat it. Get an appreciation for what it truly means to be human, and be at the top of the food chain. It doesn’t have to be some deer rifle on a multi-thousand dollar hunting trip. Go buy a damn sling shot and pop some squirrels.

Further, people who have taken a life, in any capacity, have an immense amount of respect for it. Nobody likes to see something suffer while it dies, no one, of any creed, race, or nation.

Some people man…. be a vegan if you want, it is your choice, but do not push it on others, the same way you expect others to not push their choices on you.
