There is a stereotype that Troeschina is the most boring, gloomy and comfortless housing area of Kiev. If so, probably the worst and the gloomiest part of it is near its remotest Miloslavskaya street. Let’s check if it’s really that bad.

I would agree, that it is not the most attractive of places in Kyiv. At the same time, it really isn’t that ugly. I would think that it is unattractive mostly due to the complete lack of integrated mass transit, and its distance from the center (and the need to often take a longish bus ride to the nearest metro to get to the city center).

I am not sure how it would be to live there though. I had only been in one apartment on that side of the city, and it wasn’t all that different from the apartment i was living in. I guess other people will have to provide input in for livability in that area….

The birth of a baby is a messy, smelly, disgusting affair, requiring a hosedown of all concerned.

Yet the baby is going to be beautiful, and with a little luck and good parenting, will grow into something fine and wonderful.
