On the 3rd of June they held a reconstruction of Russian Civil War in Chernogolovka, the Moscow region. Look at some photos of the event.

In the end of May 1918 the peaceful period of the revolution was interrupted and Civil war began. It was the great tragedy in the history of Russian people.

The tragic aftermath of the war became separation of the people into “ours” and “others”, depreciation of a human life, collapse of the national economy. Not so much important who won, the main victim of the war became the people.

The reconstruction was devoted to the events of May-June 1919, notably the decisive attack of the Armed Frces of the Russian South and capturing of the Donetsk Basin and Kharkiv. The success of the White army of the Russian South initiated the attack of Moscow in July-August 1919.

The Reds had the people’s support. The Whites had the money (and the imperialists’ money). The Reds won. I like the Anarchists’ side. The SRs had lots of support in the countryside (like Tambov).

The one fellow’s sawed down M91 rifle must be rather spectacular to shoot. Even the carbine version of the M91 kicks brutally and spouts flames from the barrel to 2 meters!

Ah, if only the good guys and not the Jews had won…

  4. Testicules says:

    A fatal victory for Russia.
