    Making Anti-Shark Nets

    2
Posted on April 28, 2012 by team

Tavrichanskaya net knitting factory produces obstructing anti-shark nets. By the middle of June the special equipment will appear on 10 most popular beaches of the Khasansky district.

The tragical incidents of shark attacks in Primorye last year made it necessary to provide all legal beaches with anti-shark obstructions.

It was decided that nets with meshes 120×120 mm will be optimal: swimmers won’t get entangled in them and fish will be able to swim through for spawning. However the net will be green, it’s gonna scrare not only sharks away but spawing fish too…

Polyethylene nets will be less subject to fouling what will prolong their service life. Ordinary plastic buoys will be replaced with floats made of foamed EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate).

All elements of the nets are produced here, at the factory, in accord with modern technologies.

By June, 15th they will make 10 km of nets to fulfill 10 orders they have.

Polyethylene obstructions will be placed 7 m deep, it is 50-100 m from a bank.

    Location: the Nadezhdinsky district, Primorye

Here is a product that might have a large export market. Every ocean swimming beach wants to protect swimmers from sharks. I know that nets of this type are in use in Australia. I used to swim at South Padre Island Texas where at least one fatal shark attack had taken place. Those nets would make everyone feel more secure.

Is plain to Moola; the fish gods were displeased with Russians eating so much fish, so they send big fish brother to eat Russians.
