    Abandoned Maternity Hospital

Posted on April 19, 2012 by team

Hospitals are probably classics of the abandoned objects. They attract with their gloomy atmosphere. This is a maternity hospital – the building of the 19 century, beautiful architecture. It’s quite empty inside though there are some interesting rooms.

We can see new building anywhere, it’s the old abandoned ones that we all find solace in.

What amazes me is the fact that the electric power seems to still be turned on in many of these abadnonded russian places as opposed to what you’d get in the west where copper-thieves often only need five minutes to steal the wiring.
Heck here in Sweden we get reports every month about trains being delayed or cancelled because parts of the wiring that protects the trains in case of electrical malfunctions have been stolen somewhere along the line.
