    Ancient Flax-Spinning Mill

Posted on April 16, 2012 by team

We are at the flax-spinning mill in Vyazniki, the Vladimir region. It’s really ancient, dated something back 17**s years… For the last two centirues Vyazniki has been a Russian flax capital, it had a plenty of such mills all around. Capitalists were given land in such unfavourable places like swamps and ravines. This one stands in the ravine. Height differential on the territory is 4 storeys. You enter the first floor on one side and exit from the fifth…

The building has been reconstructed many times. This is a boiler house. But according to the architecture it seems it was a stable.

The clock stopped in the communist times.

Some part of the building is abandoned, flax is not in high demand nowadays. Synthetic fabric won the war for the market and the battlefield looks deterrent…

“We support and approve the project of the USSR constitution”, why shouldn’t we?

The production part doesn’t look much better. Hackles are on the 1st floor. They comb raw material, flax and jute and put the fibre in multicolored cardboard boxes.

    Flax ribbons

    And rammed in a tub

    Guests are welcome
The air smells sweet and pleasant, the walls are all in flax dust. Ventilation doesn’t save from it.

Drawing machines on the 2nd floor. Fibre is stretched on them and some ribbons interlace into one.

    And once again

Chain conveyer to deliver the cardboard boxes

    Spooky staircase

The third floor is the spinning one. Here they spin jute, flax and polymeric fibre.

    Flax

    Pictures from horror movies

    Ready linen thread

    Processing cotton thread

Ready products go to the warehouse

Waste will be of use too…

They are put into such a monstrous machine…

    to be combed and smoothed…

Then a needlepuncher makes non-woven fabric from them.

Ready product – eco-friendly construction insulant.

Splendid ancient mansion on the mill territory. Probably it was the office of the manager…

    Location: Vyazniki

Evolutions continue to be the Leader! Why evolutions are so real and humans do not take serious about it: before only taking serious, to do with weather, by saying nothing we can doing about it. Many times came to my Mind about human intelligence: changing values for the wealth of money, and came o the point. Never enough the quantity some may have: human wealth power and just health, never enough. Was times when we looking for something real: strong like a car with strong bumper, today not even bumps having. The flux was only to produce closes and beautiful one’s: now saving the seeds for health purposes, even so many of them humans, using without any knowledge, just like a monkey, if someone do, must be real good. I love Mind Philosophy: because we may can thinking humans did learn so much, should control own destiny or destination. I think use to be better into appreciate values: inclusive husband and wife was more respected than his now. The world did change from evolutions which human’s wondering why now. But evolutions continue for good and for bad, because both it is necessary special about human’s, because that what make them confused when too much good without one bad. A.Oscar
