The Sayano–Shushenskaya Dam is located on the Yenisei River, near Sayanogorsk in Khakassia. It is the largest power plant in Russia and the sixth-largest hydroelectric plant in the world, by average power generation. The other day, they carried out a bank spillway. Some photos for your attention.

It’s amazing the way was build such power plant; to me would be more save than nuclear power plant. And the place that was builds; also further from population; which give many a chance to drive to see the panorama. Congratulations for the work towards progress and a support to a better condition of living, and clean environment. A.Oscar

Those life rings are purely for psychological support, you fall in there, you die.

    Don’t say that to loud,for a better environment…..
A lot of fish and all the little one cell organisms, will leave the area,if the river don’t stream on a natural way, they will get more,a lot more insects there, and on,but okey,it’s better then nuclear radio active waste in the ground for 40.000 years orso….hhhmmmm40.000 years, who knows what will happen in that time…

btw.i found it a prestation, that after a blast in 2009 with a lot of damage, that you/we can’t see nothing more of that, and that the build goes further now, shows that man can move more then one piramide in a day..
