A curious story happened to the director of the nursing home for special needs children of the city of Volgodonsk, the Rostov Region. In 2008, Economic Crime Department checked information on Tatyana Voronko’s misappropriation of assets assigned for children’s food. Voronko asserted she was a victim herself for her claim concerning the mayor and the head of the police department. She said she was taken vengeance on.

The story came to light after one entrepreneur who had served her term for giving a $50,000 kickback to Voronko, found out the latter still held the office and was doing great.
