
Mlynki is a cave located in western Ukraine. Deep holes and cracks, huge galleries, bats, dirt and crystals will stand in the way of those who dare to come to Mlynki.

Mlynki is a horizontal gypsum cave located in the Ternopolska Region. It is one of the most beautiful caves in Ukraine. It is almost 45 km long; temperature inside the cave is about +9C all the year round.

This sculpture will meet you at the entrance into the cave. People call it speleologist Vasily.

By the way, bats live much longer that regular mice and can live up to 30 years.

In the cave you will find both narrow and wide passages to walk in full length.

Cave explorers are asked not to touch crystals. Otherwise, there will appear a fungus on the crystals which will eventually destroy them.

I’d loved to have gone down that cave when I was still young and fit.
This is stunning. I went to these caves on a trip to Ukraine a few years ago and it just blew me away. It’s even more incredible in person.
The people live in poverty 98% of them, they cannot do normal things.
