Walking here at this iron and steel plant is quite dangerous. They say it is guarded by former special squad soldiers who may beat you up severely and take away your belongings. Welcome to the plant!

The plant is mostly abandoned, there are just a couple of departments which are still functioning.
In the photo: pot-bellied fridge ZiSMoskva.

This department has tons of sand which makes it difficult to go.

“Comrades, economy is an important factor…”

The roof makes terrifying noises because of the wind and birds.

Rails.

All of it is destroyed now.

Staircases here are rotten through.

Very elaborate work!

In one of the offices.

“Deputy Director V. Khomyakov”.

This passage connects two neighboring buildings.

A cafeteria.

This photo could have been taken at the beach.

A steam locomotive.

A locker room for workers.

“Emergency exit”.

Designers’ room.

Hello, Granfather Gas Mask!

“Job safety”.

The more holes there are on the roof, the more snow you will find in the department.

Leningrad-manufactured machines.

“Attention! Department of increased danger!”

Here it is.

“Crane #3. Load-carrying ability: 20 tons.”

Mind those windows. They look like those you can see in a castle.

That engine rather looks like diesel powered.
Indeed, my first though as well.
Yes, it’s a TGK2 diesel locomotive.
Great stuff, keep it coming.
Where is this factory? Who own these plants? Why they don`t sell all that metal to scrap?
Life in Germany is 100 times easier than in Russia.
