        They are German unit markings, but I don’t know what unit it is.

      Some of the ‘German’ soldiers look more like old farts from the Volkssturm than real Wehrmacht- or SS-stormtroopers.

      Fascinating display of re-enactors. One minor inaccuracy however. The U.S. Air Force did not exist during the Great Patriotic War. During that time American aviation was know as the U.S. Army Air Force. The U.S. Air Force did not become a separate service until 1947.
