what is that red thing
The red stuff on the snow is algae. The red stuff in the stream is either algae or mineral runoff from hot springs.
What is the temperature? There is snow and what looks like inclement weather, but at least one of the persons seems lightly clothed.
Should be somewhere around +12-15°C. Snow doesn’t melt because ground and water are still very cold.
