    Protests Of Femen In Sofia And Davos

    FEMEN activists visited Bulgaria and Davos to protest against home violence and decisions of the political elite.

    Topless FEMEN activists came to Bulgarian capital Sofia to protest against domestic violence against women and children.

    They were beating the Bulgarian men next to the People’s Assembly to make lawmakers pass corresponding laws.

    Today Bulgaria refuses to punish home agressors. If they hurt their families members too much they can be ordered to leave their house for some time and that is all.

    It results in large-scale domestic violence that can be stopped only in case a criminal offence is made.

    FEMEN activists were arrested in Davos where they protested against decisions made at the World Economic Forum, world’s political elite and demanded to protect the rights of the poor.

    They carried slogan ‘Crisis Is Made in Davos’, ‘Gansters Party In Davos’, ‘Poor Because Of You’.

    The activists believe that a group of rich people can’t decide the fate of the millions by cutting themselves off them with heavily-armed servants.

      Any man that beats a woman or children has a real “small one”; any government that lets it happen has an even smaller one.

      One of the cops is holding a cool looking tear gas launcher built on a Schmidt-Rubin straight pull rifle action. Interesting, but not as interesting as the FEMEN ladies!

      Funny how these people blame being “poor” on rich people. They see it as there are only “X” amount of wealth in the world, and if somebody else has more, that means somebody else has less. BS.
      You want more money? Get out there and WORK for it.

      @George Johnson,
      Funny, it is not easy to get jobs when the bourgeoisie doesn’t provide them to you. What the heck do you think the OWS-movement is all about?

      Also, creeds to the FEMEN-activists. Puts a warm feeling to my heart to see fellow comrades stand up against patriarchal attitudes, as well as anti-corporatism ones.
