Thermal Power Plant ‘Severnaya’ (“Nothern”) and TTP-1 located in Vladivostok will now consume gas recovered on Sakhalin.

The project was launched in October 2010. The year of 2011 was marked by immense works related to installation of internal and external gas pipelines, 5 natural gas boilers were modernized.

During New-Year holidays energetics were busy with complex procedures of installation and commissioning.

Since January 7 2012 both TPPs have been using natural gas only.

Looks like they’re using LabView to control the whole system. Gotta love LabView, some powerful, easy to use software.
