Geoff, the bike is an IZH. I think the model is a Jupiter. The one in the picture looks to have a sidecar attached.

The people look like the ones in “Generalnaia Linia” (or “Old and New”), Eisenstein’s 1929 film.
Looking at these photos one might think that a person is born old in the village.
