    Had I not been told where the pics were taken, I couldn’t have determined if these were NATO, CES, allies or former enemies!

      Hey Jeffers, they are all just people. This simple fact that we are all just people is what makes wars so ugly.

      So, it doesn’t really matter where the pictures were taken, now does it? Since when did a smile require any translation?

    My mother and her family fled from Karelia during the war. Later she came to Sweden and I was born and lives in the western standard. Sometimes I wonder if she had not fled.
