This is what a car for the top echelon government may look like in the nearest future. Its design was developed by Svyatoslav Saakyan and his art studio that specializes in design, including automobile exterior and interior design. This model is of most interest because it is based on the Russian ZIL chassis.

Is this something they’ve been working on for 12 years? A render? “The nearest future”, as mentioned above, will then be year 2030. Plus the rear lamps remind me Lada 2105.
This is the REAL Russian thing I like. http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7316/fotoural2012uralretro75.jpg
it’s not russian. it’s german.
Looks so good, I want to shove my a** up sideways!
Incredibly ugly.
Usually I respect your opinion but this one reeks of otherwise understandable Czech russophobia.
I’m russian and i too think it is inceadibly, no INCREADIBLY ugly. Moreover, there are just ugly designs, but this one looks silly as well
So what can YOUR country afford Tommy?
HAHAHAHA….
I’m sorry, I don’t understand
With this design the car will have maybe success in Russia and other ex-CCCP countries, but for sure not in west!
You’re wrong. If I had plenty of cash, I’d lay it out for this. This design is just bad-ass.
Oh… and I’m born-and-raised red-white-and-blue Americanski.
They did not waist any time in the windtunel
aside from being ugly, the designer probably did not consider wind noise or, obviously, aerodynamics
Probably so much armor that noise won`t be a problem.
is that design final? it’s… meh!
the rear lights doesn’t really match well
absolutely UGLY…
fully agree with you
it takes years to render such thing on russian’s computers!
It captures the death locomotive look that was popular in the latest of movies depicting the USSR or Russia as the Dark Evil relentless Villin. As another said, the wind tunnel must not have been used in designing the aerodynamics of the body. It looks a cross between Bentley and the 60′s Lincoln’s
Pretty ugly… the designer should find a new job
Woah, that thing is super UGLY. I think the old ZILs looked much much better: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ajOjSXWZUwg/TV1V9L1aDbI/AAAAAAAAAEY/Np18Tpz_mXQ/s1600/zil_41047.jpg
It would look better if it was a modernised and more aerodynamic version of the early 40′s style ZIL or ZIS.
Looks like something a Mafioso would drive and not a government official.
Well … in Russia they are basically the same thing.
you can stuff a V12 under the hood and 6 dead hookers in the trunk, which makes the car very practical!
Underwhelming. Reminds me of a Lincoln Continental of forty years ago.
Reminds me of LEGO. Or the SUX 4000 from robocop.
The more expensive and complex a government auto is, the more detached the government is from it’s citizens. Elitism.
Whats the big boot for? Hiding bodies or bodyguards?
Sorry, ugly.
The lines are too sharp, too harsh on the eye. They should smooth and graceful. This is just a bunch of square boxes and rectangles. Nothing “smooth” or “graceful” about it.
is this a new video game car?
Nobody notices how similar this is to the Rolls-Royce Phantom? Tell Mr Svetoslav to be original not a copycat!
It might as well be a tracked vehicle.
Tankity-tankity-tank-tank.
Esta Limousine que aparece nas fotos, é só para os Orgão Governamentais Russod, ou tambem será para Exportações á outros Paises, principalmente da América do Sul-(no Caso, Brasil)-?
ZILch
I like it ! russian style—- simple, thick, kinglike, pratical
Regal.
Actually I think it looks really cool, I wouldn’t buy it to go to work but as a representative vehicle I think it’s awesome.
Its trunk seems too long to me.
it’s realy a wonderful car with good design and beautiful line with hig class. Congratulations!!!
Since there’s no back window the rear deck should just slope down from the roof to the tailights.
