New Car For The Top Echelon

    42
    Posted on January 4, 2012 by ok4u2bu

This is what a car for the top echelon government may look like in the nearest future. Its design was developed by Svyatoslav Saakyan and his art studio that specializes in design, including automobile exterior and interior design. This model is of most interest because it is based on the Russian ZIL chassis.

Is this something they’ve been working on for 12 years? A render? “The nearest future”, as mentioned above, will then be year 2030. Plus the rear lamps remind me Lada 2105.

With this design the car will have maybe success in Russia and other ex-CCCP countries, but for sure not in west!

You’re wrong. If I had plenty of cash, I’d lay it out for this. This design is just bad-ass.

aside from being ugly, the designer probably did not consider wind noise or, obviously, aerodynamics

Probably so much armor that noise won`t be a problem.

It captures the death locomotive look that was popular in the latest of movies depicting the USSR or Russia as the Dark Evil relentless Villin. As another said, the wind tunnel must not have been used in designing the aerodynamics of the body. It looks a cross between Bentley and the 60′s Lincoln’s

It would look better if it was a modernised and more aerodynamic version of the early 40′s style ZIL or ZIS.

you can stuff a V12 under the hood and 6 dead hookers in the trunk, which makes the car very practical!

The more expensive and complex a government auto is, the more detached the government is from it’s citizens. Elitism.

      Sorry, ugly.

The lines are too sharp, too harsh on the eye. They should smooth and graceful. This is just a bunch of square boxes and rectangles. Nothing “smooth” or “graceful” about it.

Since there’s no back window the rear deck should just slope down from the roof to the tailights.
