Antiterrorism Training In Vladivostok

These anti-terrorism maneuvers were carried out in Vladivostok. According to the scenario, terrorists captured the ferry Eastern Bosphorus with passengers and crew members.

Employees of the Federal Security Service, law-enforcement authorities, representatives of the army and fleet and bodies of executive powers participated in the maneuvers are carried out for the 2012 APEC summit.

The ferry with terrorists is getting ready to occupy its place.

An assault is launching on the ferry.

    Hmm. Two days and none has commented on this? Weird. Usually on anything related to the military, there would be a bunch of Russian bashers.

      I think that the Russian bashers on here would be critical of everything everywhere except themselves and anything closely related to themselves. There is a lot of unfair and thoughtless comment on ER and out in the community. We seam to notice a fault in somebody else and overlook the same fault in ourselves.

    Russia is 100% militarized, there is no difference no than when it called itself the USSR.

    New name, same regime.

    Actually, these maritime anti-terrorism drills are petty standard. I believe it is an international requirement. In the USA, two of these drills are required each year at major seaports. One has to be a full dress exercise, just as you see here.
