FEMEN Looking For Trouble | English Russia

FEMEN congratulated Prime Minister of Ukraine Azarov on his upcoming birthday with another protest demonstration. The movement accused him of being a woman-hater and demanded his resignation. Five activists were arrested by police.

Another protest demonstration by FEMEN was held at KGB Headquarters in Minsk. FEMEN activists dressed themselves as Belarus’s president Alexander Lukashenko to remember last years mass protests in Minsk regarding his re-election. Since the protests, many people are still being held in prison. FEMEN activists held up signs calling for the freedom for political prisons and solidarity for Belarus citizens.

After the action in Belarus the girls were caught by unknown guys from KGB who took them to the forest and tortured them: made them undress, drubbed, poured brilliant green on them, oil and threatened to set fire to, cut their hair with a knife and so on. Girls doubted they would survive… They were left far from the nearest village where they finally could find a shelter…

Upon arrival to Ukraine, the girls held a press conference telling about police brutality they underwent through in Belarus. They haven’t lost their enthusiasm to hold more actions in Belarus though they are still shocked…
