Today we’re going to Kazakhstan to see how they make vodka there.

These are main production stages: at first they make a aqueous-alcoholic mix, filter it to remove all unnecessary admixtures and treat it with activated carbon. Then, they adjust alcohol concentration to the level they need (by means of adding water or alcohol), add ingredients specified in the recipe, and filter it again.

Sand filters.

Pressure filters.

Charcoal filters and sand filters.

In blend tanks, they add flavour additives and other ingredients according to the recipe.

In these tanks, they blend their mix with water or alcohol (depending on the recipe).

‘Measuring vodka tank’.

‘Ready produce tank’.

In this ready produce tank there are 10 m3 of vodka!

They say, that they grow some herbs by themselves to produce their own alcohol and add it into vodka.
