A forgotten monument in an abandoned library proclaims ‘They fought for their Homeland. Nothing and no one are forgotten’.
How absolutely classic and typically Russian! These ruins are just another ironic and unintentional monument to the fall of communism and all that was once important.
Anyone else recognise the group of people in picture 14? (The one after the clock) Clue: The one at the back is Brian Jones.
They do “authentic rhythm and blues?” I liked Brian Jones best…
Aren’t the Rolling Stones a little too Bourgeoisie for you (r)evolutionist?
Are you not frozen up there in Canadaland yet? It’s a balmy 42 deg here. Well, you’re right. Jagger was/is a hopeless fat cat.
Lol, I’m in Michigan, Yeah it’s been cold but not bad. I still like the Stones myself, Kieth Richards is a hoot!
Where were these pictures taken
Looking at all those things just wasting is so sad. I wish Russians would Ebay their old unwanted Soviet items. There’s such a global market for them, and, so long as they’re less than 70 years old, under Russian law their export is legal. It’s better than just rotting to nothing.
many russians do sell old soviet stuff on ebay they use the US version although I believe they have their own ebay now
