Gee, Uncle Walter never did that, lol.
Not very professional, many people don’t like Obama, but they don’t give him the finger during a live broadcast.
People are at home with their families watching the news shouldn’t be subject to this crude gesture. She talks for a living, maybe she can find a more professional way to express herself, she did go to university for this job…didn’t she?

So, you felt this way while Bush was in office? Seems he endured even harsher insults than this..

If somebody had given Bush the finger, he deserved it. The tragedy here is:
          1. Because she mentioned Obama, right before the bird, it made the international media.
          2. The 2nd tragedy is she may be fired for it.

Paul, i’d be interested to hear you cite examples of a professional newscaster giving Bush the finger during a newscast. Especially out of context and expressing her own personal opinion during a news story story like this. I mean really, it’s childish BS, totally unprofessional. She want’s to express her personal opinion go blog about it. Not be an ass and risk your job over it during a live newscast.

“Translation: “Today, Dimitry Medvedev, became a chairman of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), earlier, this position was taken by an American president, Barack Obama (flip off). During the press conference that took place in the capital of Hawaii, Honolulu, Medvedev spoke on this matter as well as cooperating with Americans on anti-missile defense system.”

haha, unlike Obama this is the only thing she will ever be famous for. I’m sure Putin doesn’t give a damn about what some American talking head thinks of him either. :)

A Russian speaking friend of mine, (yes, I have one) watched the video and they believe Tatiana is giving one of her co-workers the finger, not Obama, as much as we would like to think so. I hope she keeps her job, I like the way she fills her blouse. Yes, I am a pig, and proud of it oink oink.

That is quite a leap of imagination.
I like Romney, I think he is a smart man. I believe the reason why he is not more popular is he never seems to take a solid stand on anything and he looks like a slick car salesman.

It does seem like she gave the finger only after she finished a sentence and looked up at the camera, I think your friend is right.
