A 15000-square meter skating rink, one of the largest in Russia, will open at Moscow’s Gorky Park on December 1. Visitors will skate in any weather, the quality of ice will be preserved till spring.

The interesting technology was bought in Europe.

The skating rink will stretch over the entire park along the central and some side alleys.

Chillers will allow to extend Russian winter for a couple of months. Thus, it will be possible to skate when the weather is warm.

A bridge for visitors will go through the main icy road providing a perfect view of the entire skating rink.

The total area will be divided into several zones such as a large skating rink, rinks for dancers, children and hockey teams.

Visitors can either bring their skates or rent ones at the rental center.

I’d like to see this rink filled with people when it gets going… looks great. We have some of the best Russian Figure Skating Coaches in the world living here in New Jersey (USA) along with some great Russian NHL players (Kovalchuk).
Ice ice baby!
Unique project. I don’t think the Bose speakers are going to be there for much longer.
