FEMEN keeps spreading international! Thus, in Zurich FEMEN blocked the main pimp street of the city, Sihlquai Strasse, stopped cars and began to chant. Activists demonstrated against brothels and prostitution which took advantage of poor women making them prostitutes. FEMEN believes that prostitution is the only form of slavery left on the planet. This time a Swiss activist participated in the action and also a lot of members of the Radical-Liberal Party of Switzerland came to support FEMEN. No arrests were made.

FEMEN also celebrated the resignation of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in front of the Italian Embassy in Kiev, by pretending to be the winners of the Formula One World Championship. Activists sprayed
security guards and passers-by with expensive champagne and chanted. FEMEN wanted to share this victory with millions of Italians, as it was the result of increased pressure from both the citizens of Italy and FEMEN.
‘Berlo, ciao!’ and ‘Finish Berlusconi!’, shouted the activists sternly. The women’s movement demands that the resignation of Berlusconi should start mandatory trials, because it’s time for him to answer for the patriachal brutality of his government.
In New York, the American department of FEMEN held a topless demostration on Wall Street. They remonstrated against unjust treatment of the members of the movement Occupy Wall Street and demanded that the police let the protesters go back to Zuccotti Park. FEMEN is outraged by the cruel treatment of the female protesters who have been arrested and detained at police stations.

American FEMEN come across as a prudish risk adverse embarrassment. If they’re going to be afraid to get arrested, just get some white t-shirts to go with cut off blue jeans and paint the same stuff on them, and get some sexy high heels. Then loose the corny liberty crowns and get some red, white and blue flowers and long flowing ribbons for your hair! You’re doing it all wrong.
Remember, in New York there were thousands marching that day, so, cops had no time for FEMEN.
Even more reason for them to not have been so prudishly dressed (for FEMEN) and risk adverse. Either they’re just too prudish to do it right or college girls worried about what an arrest on their record will me for job prospects etc. They don’t seem to get how FEMEN works. Baring boobs, being outrageously over the top during the protest, and getting arrested in the basic FEMEN model for protest. These are just a couple of ‘tardish American wannabes out holding a couple of signs up while standing there, not making much of a scene about it with pasties on. FAIL lol

Their lack of clothes kinda defeats the point behind their protest. Sure, they will attract some attention. But will that be a right kind of attention to make their argument heard? Probably not…
