They plan to open the new metro station ‘Vistavochny Tsentr’ (‘Exposition Hall’) in Kiev in less than two months and, judging by the pace of the construction, they will manage to do this in time.

The internal finishing of the 50th metro station of Kiev Metro is almost completed. The biggest part of the platform is covered with granite.

After they finish the wall, they’ll begin to install rails.

At this track they’re going to erect a wall. Some part of the platform is also missing.

This is an entrance hall.

Going through this exit, you’ll get to the university.

Here they’re building an emergency exit.

This is a water drainage installation.

Here they’ll install pipes to pump water out of the tunnel.

An air passage between the tunnels.

Behind this gate there are operating metro stations.

The stage here was finished less then a month ago that is why there’s so much to do.

Here they’re going to underpour soon.

They used to perform assembly operations here, but soon they’ll turn it into an air pit.

For metro builders, this ZIL is a legend!

what gauge is the track?
1520mm, like in all CIS countries.
Some serious elevation changes, turns, and banks in this one… must be a fun ride.
