In 2010 the museum of Nakhodka presented its third project called Museum On Rollers that won another grant of a Russian charitable fund.

Several blocks on rollers contain exhibits devoted to different topics. The idea is excellent as it enables the museum to use its limited space by shifting the blocks in the necessary direction.

Nakhodka, which actually means “discovery”, was discovered by the Russian sailing ship America in 1859.

    The bottle of Vodka is conspicuously absent on the quilt. :-)

    In Pic # 13, the bayonet immediately below the saber appears to be German, and the one immediately below that appears to be Japanese. –Looks like an interesting little museum.

    Bellingham is not in Canada as the last map indicates. It is in America and is a small city with about 75,000 residents

    Nakhoda has a lot of “sister cities”…interesting that the only two outside of Asia are on the west coast of the U.S.
