Enjoy some photos taken during a seven-day tour in the Urals!
On the way. When the road is this good, it seems like you can drive forever!
Approaching the city of Kazan. On the left there is a city-island called Swiyazhsk.
The road situation is very mysterious in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Google Maps show R-316 Road which in fact can hardly be subjugated by FWD vehicles especially after rain because it has no asphalt. Navigators are really confused.
This rock (called Aktash) is located on the Zilim River and is considered one of the most beautiful places in Bashkiriya.
In the Bashkir language ‘aktash’ means ‘white stone’.
Some say that they charge people for entering this beach. But as far as you can see, people are not really excited to come here. The ones who are are some cows grazing among piles of garbage.
The Zilim is not really deep but it has a strong current and very cold water. In some places you can cross it on foot. On the banks there are two different villages: Yurmash and Aktashevo.
This is a serpentine road going through the Urals.
Sabakty Lake. There are plenty of tourists here any time of the year. The residents of the city of Magnitogorsk are very lucky to live so close to this beautiful place (just 30 kilometers away).
