Six Russian artists made meat reproductions of some of the world famous paintings. The edible gallery was created to celebrate the centenary of meat processing factory foundation in Rostov-on-Don.

It took artist Alexander Solomko 20 kilos of meat to reproduce Mona Lisa. He also made an installation named ‘Meat Kid’.

Besides, there were meat reproductions of Pablo Picasso and Van Gogh masterpieces. Solomko admitted that he liked working with meat because it was very soft and flexible.
