Unusual Portaits Of Miners

New York artist Cai Guo-Qiang, who works with gunpowder, was inspired by the work of Ukrainian miners and created his personal exhibition called “1040 m under the ground.” Donetsk miners showed to Cai their work  in coal and salt mines and took him along a tunnel with the length of 1,000 m. Portraits of 27 miners were created by nine local artists. And then Cai strewed gunpowder on these paintings and fired them.
