Let’s make an excursion to the aluminum plant in Volgograd which is the 7th greatest enterprise of such a kind in Russia.

Its construction started in 1955. The year 1959 was marked by launching aluminum production.

The plant has a developed infrastructure and is located next to railways stations and river port. “Thank You For Your Labour!”

Over 3000 people are engaged here producing mainly primary aluminum.

3000 people work here? I count 6. Where are the 2994 others?
IMHO some very impressive images from Russos – wish I had a Canon EOS 5D MkII and his talents, thank you.
Me too, about the Canon. Does anybody have about 5 000 € I could have? LOL!
What do you see in these pictures that a $1000 or $500 4/3 camera or even a Canon G12 couldn’t do?
Or for that matter, my old Nikon D1H with 2.66MP and a 1.8 lens?
Great photos! There are a lot of great ones on this site — usually the subject matter is the reason, but the photographer here just did a really good job. The black and white look really good, you rarely see good bw photos anymore.
Only 1 has safety equipment… Because of that rest non-visible
