Residents of Kiev could hear very strange intense sounds that even windows were shaking in their houses. Rather apocalyptic thoughts may come to mind….

Construction works are held nor far away, and it is audible on the following video. But the sound from construction works is like a mosquito squeak in this terrible hum. Locals can’t sleep at night, and of course children are very afraid of such sounds.

It’s so loud but it sounds mechanical, like something echoing against metal, kind of like wind. Sometimes it almost sounds like someone blowing into a horn. It could be the wind but listen to how it echos, like you’re in a tunnel and the sound is bumping off of a solid surface that surrounds everything. I don’t know what could manufacture that kind of sound outside like that, but sounds mechanical to me. I hope they figure out what it is, I bet it’s annoying hearing it all day.
It sounds like boring machine to drill tunnel for metro or underground shelters. Did officaials of the city have said anything about that?

This, my friends, is the sound of a hoax.
It sounds exactly like a TBM – tunnel boring machine. One of those giant drills with a slow spinning bit up front that just slowly grinds through the rock. There are tunnel constructions going on for the Kiev Metro, and it’s even acknowledged in the video that it’s nearby. “Doesn’t sound like construction though…” …people don’t manually sledge away to dig vast tunnels through rocks anymore… Geez.
We have to ask Kiev’s FEMEN girls their naked opinion (and the thuggish Government’s response).
The sound is rumoured to be caused by air being vented from underground tunnels…
There was a blowout at the chernobyl NPP, and the sound traveled far to kiev.
I am fairly certain this is caused by traffic on a distant highway.
