Let’s visit the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk, Belarus, where horror events and heroism of the Belarus people during WWII are shown in photographs and dioramas.  The big sign above the building means ‘The Feats of Mankind Will Live On for Centuries’.

Unique weapons, documents, pictures, uniforms and personal things of soldiers are presented in the museum.

The  museum’s collection increases one thousand specimens annually. For many decades it was the first and the only museum of the former USSR that showed the Great Patriotic War in detail. Click on the image to see the full size.

The museum looks older and more decrepit than the artifacts themselves.

Oh, really? And I guess you Anglo-Saxons are going to introduce them to democracy. Just like you introduced it in Libya, Iraq, Iran, Serbia, Granada, Vietnam…
