Abandoned Staff Headquarters

It seems that this staff headquarters saw a crowd of military men just some time ago. Now it is left abandoned and forgotten by people.

The staff headquarters is of a round shape and has a command room in the center. It is abandoned for many years and is rather well-preserved.

Operational room.

Two large maps depicting location of the enterprise and its neighborhood are hanging on the wall.

The place used to be supplied with telephones and occupied by assistants of the chief.

This place was affected by moisture.

The Soviet ‘smartphone’ was produced in 1959 and is still well-preserved.

The levers of the appliance are all covered up with different signatures and surnames.

The wall of the command room.

Old newspapers are still stored in the box.

The corridor.

Electrical equipment.

      What big-ass cry babies? I have been looking at pictures of Soviet abandoned things and places on EnglishRussia.com for close to two(2) years now. These kinds of posts are pretty common here on this website, in case you haven’t already noticed Some of these “abandoned posts” are fascinating and some not. But I am not surprised anymore. So if you are surprised to find such posts published here, you better get over it. :P

    At that time this equipment probably looked as technically modern to the users as computers appear to us in this age.Nice variety of articles on this website.

    This post should have showed more. Most of it was just random furniture and electronics. The smart phone was cool though. Nice turntable on top. I heard that is what Moby has in his house.

    In the final frame…that segmented, yellow drum. What is that? I’ve been seeing that in a lot of the picture galleries that feature abandoned bases, etc. Is it some kind of modular furnace or air filter system?
