If I say “bourgeois” I’ll be red checked into oblivion, but I’ll say it anyway. This only benefits capitalist values: of enriching others who sell without actually laboring, promoting the exploitation of women, and keeping young people in a haze so they won’t criticize their elders or question them. Under Socialism, festivals were family-oriented and money spent went into the government’s coffers to benefit society, not wealthy individuals or corporations.
