Once he saw a dream where a ghost of a woman with broken bones and bloody face arose in the cupboard and attacked him.
So, he decided to take pictures similar to what he saw in his dreams. He wanted his audience to feel the same what he felt.
The Grudge is a horror movie that impressed the photographer the most.
Scary events occurred in usual apartments and houses and not only at night but also in the afternoon.
His principle is as follows: the more realistic the surroundings are the worse the situation looks like.
