The international exhibition Memorial-2011 took place in Moscow on the 22 and 23 of June. It was aimed at memorization of perished soldiers.

Two large dioramas at the entrance.

    The American Studebaker US6.

The armored car BA-64B, 1942. One part of the equipment was presented by the technology museum whereas the other part – by the museum of armored force vehicles.

    ZiS-5B with an unusual cabin.

    GAZ A-A.

    GAZ-67B. Strange looking tyres.

    Willis MB.

    Some exhibits presented.

‘Rank of the Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment was confirmed on October 29, 1932 by the Presidium of the Central Council of Osoaviachim ((Society for the Promotion of Aviation and Chemistry).
The award itself was accepted on December 29, 1932. Total amount of awards accounted for 6 to 9 million’.

The gun armoured car of medium size BA-6 was put into service by the Red Army in 1935. Its light and resistant gear was taken as a novelty. The car used shotproof tyres filled with special elastic rubber that feared no holes or leaks.

Light metal track layers increased trafficability through the heavy ground.

T-26 tank turret is mounted on the car.

390 gun armoured cars BA-6 were made in the period from 1935 to 1938. The fuel bank with capacity of 108 kg of petrol, is located in the upper part of the cabin. It means that the burning petrol was spilt over into the heads of the crew.

    The amphibious tank T-38.

Light missile carrier Goliath made in Germany.

    ZiS-2, the antitank cannon, 1941.

    The mountain rifle, 1938.

The legendary Katyusha multiple-launch rocket system.

      A. Bunka here. The Katyusha multiple-launch rocket system, probably the most innovative Soviet weapon of WW2.

Happy Birthday America, Stars and Stripes forever!

You can’t foreclose on a country. Borrowing money from the Chinese makes the Chinese reliant on the US to pay them back. They hold all the risk. You can’t forclose on a country. The US could just say F U China. Then what would they do.

Of course a country doesn’t get “foreclosed”, dummy. It collapses terribly and its economy tanks for years. They still have to pay. Creditors get their money (later) and don’t lose much. Default payers are “owned” without any growth, sometimes for decades, due to huge devaluation, high interest rates, taxes and massive layoffs. You have seen nothing yet. It happens. And go back to school. (…”Foreclosed”… ha, ha, ha…).

      2 things
      - GAZ jeep with odd tires – those are all season automobile tires
      - Goliath was a self propelled explosive like a land based torpedo. It was steered to its target then exploded.

The Nazis named their war machine Goliath, as in David and Goliath in the Hebrew Bible?

“testicules”, in a given time, a debtor country has to pay, and it can’t get a foreclose. Because of that, it goes for money, raises taxes, goverment stops spending -like, in the military, and abandons tons of other projects-; investments go somewhere else and people get fired and low paid. The currency is worth dust. And still, it has to pay… Welcome to Globalization. It hasn’t happened yet to the US, but it could. It happened already to many countries big and small last century (and recently in Greece). Good luck.

It’s strange seeing all of these armchair economists fortelling of America’s collapse when Russia should be just as angry at China. Russia, the world’s largest nation with so much potential is perpeptually robbed of opportunity by the same cheap tricks they do to fight America. They keep their wages low to rob other countries of jobs, keep their money worthless to keep trade advantage, and treat their citizens awful. Instead of arguing the US and Russia should cooperate against the cheaters just like in 1941.

Well “Voice of…”. Instead of arguing, the US should stop borrowing like there’s no tomorrow. It’s a recipe for disaster… something already proven when a nation overreaches, but is too arrogant to accept it.
