The Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU) is one of the oldest and largest Russian technical universities offering B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in various engineering fields and applied sciences. The students on the following pictures are celebrating the completion of their studying as they have just passed their last exams held in the 6th year of education. The procedure is as follows: pass your exams successfully, buy a bowel, a helmet and lots of beer, participate in the racing around the student’s hostel and throw the notebooks in a window.

Make a small hole by using a hammer.

Put notebooks inside.

Take a beer shower.

Then sit on the bowel and start racing.

Yes. All these participants will have bright futures working at starbucks. They may have degrees, but do they have brains?
These aren’t liberal arts degrees they’re graduating with, this are engineers -MSTU engineers no less. What you have in those pictures up there are rocket, space, robotics, laser, and biotech engineers. If the private market doesn’t grab them, the military sure as hell will.
well, at least they know the crucial difference between a bowl and a bowel. Try being pulled down the road at 30km/h sliding on your bowels
Unlike in USA they need to be smart and ambitious to pass, because this is real education they are up against. In USA you just have to say “God made everything and responsible for all other outcomes” and you pass all the exams
I remember graduating, my final party wasn’t that much fun … or dangerous
All good fun. That back must of hurt
Silly Russians. They could probably re-sell those textbooks to other students…
LOL, Good for theM.
A. Bunka here. Ouch roadrash.
Congratulations and best of luck to the graduates!
Ah. This is awesome!
This. Is. Russian
