        It’s a ship launched depth charge (or torpedo with nuclear capability) used to be called the SSN14. Didn’t see that much service probably because there were plenty of better weapons in use at the time.

      Usually I enjoy military pics on this website, but some posts (like this one) show too much detail of the same weapon. There are websites for hobby modellers who cannot get enough of such fine details, but this is not such a site.
