Have you ever thought there is too little space in your city or felt pity for the lack of wild nature around you? If the answer is positive, it’s high time for you to visit Lake Baikal in Siberia. Click images to see their full size.

It’s the only official ice route across Baikal in Russia.

Lake Baikal is the world’s deepest fresh water lake at 1,638 meters deep. It contains 20% of all the liquid freshwater reserves on earth.

The water is exceptionally clear. Many of plants and animals that inhabit here are not found anywhere else in the world.
