Could somebody explain this ‘plant numbering scheme’? As in, how they get their ‘number’?

In western countries, the name ‘Vnukovo Aviation Repair Plant No 400′, would entail, that there are 399 other similar plants, in the same area – i dont think that’s the case here?

It’s like hotel room numbers. You can go to a small hotel and stay in room 603, but it certainly hasn’t got 600 plus rooms. Just a numbering scheme that fits with the area and such.

      It’s the street address

It’s not spinning. The cone ‘snail shell’ drawing on working engine would make two separate wheels.

    I agree WTF!

  4. Fallingwater says:

He’s inspecting the turbine blades. He probably spun the rotor himself, slowly, and the long shutter speed made it look like as if the engine was running. Which it definitely isn’t, or the man would be a red mist coming out the other side.

I nominate it for the cleanest place in Russia
