We've already seen how long and carefully Russians had prepared for the military parade, now it is time to see what has turned out of it.

The very beginning.

Road and transportation service (DPS).

SA-10 Grumble, SA-12 Giant/Gladiator.

The parade in Kharkov. Veterans with Stalin's portrait came first.

Then pioneers in clothes of the Ukrainian flag colors.

Petards.

Our cause is right! We won!

Nice parade. Wonder how much longer the parades will be held. I thank the men and women vets of WWII for their service and sacrifice…we’re losing those vets here at 1000/day. Probably the same or worse in Russia. Only thing I didn’t like were the bozos carrying the pics of Stalin. They don’t have a clue and need to read their history.

I think they will still be having them for some time seeing as their nation was under threat of being enslaved by another that has a huge effect on national pride even though the Soviet Union does not exist anymore it is still a part of Russian history.Actually Russians are officially given a fairly favorable view of Stalin so that is why you see the people with the posters.Did you notice Anna Chapman she is in one of the pics?

Also the Victory Parade is useful to promote pride which I like we don’t really have enough of this in America to be honest.

It is interesting to see how different Armed Forces have a different “style” to their parade formations like how a formation marches does eyes right(salutes) etc we do it a bit differently than the Russians in the US military as the Brits do form the US.
