The main military parade in honor of the 66th anniversary of the Great Victory is always held in Moscow, on Red Square. Two days ago there was its first rehearsal in which about 20.000 soldiers and officers took part.
The “Tiger” cars, “BTR-80″ APC, “T-90″ tanks, “Msta-S” self-propelled howitzers, “Topol-M” ballistic missiles, eight launchers of an anti-aircraft weapon system “S-400 Triumph”, eight of the newest anti-aircraft missile and gun systems “Pantsir-S1″, “Tornado” multiple launch rocket systems, “Buk-M2″ anti-aircraft missile systems and some other best models of Russian military equipment proceeded down Red Square that day.
196 million rubles were allocated by Moscow Mayor for preparatory and rehabilitation work connected with the parade. 1.2 thousand square meters of the road surface and 42 observation wells and gutter inlets are going to be repaired by the 9th of May.

Why is it necessary for those people to kiss in front of those younger men who are standing guard? Is this some sort or Russian tradition I haven’t heard of yet or is that guy feeling a little too insecure with all those nice looking younger men in uniform around?
