An abandoned lonely ship standing in the middle of the Moscow River looks quite unusual. Its name is “Druzhny” (“Friendly”) and at first it was going to be restored and become a museum. But at the moment this has not happened yet. Everything is dismantled inside and only a deckhouse and a number of cabins remained intact…

Some pictures from the deck.

Ammunition.

Pictures of the deckhouse.

Different equipment.

Looks like the rest of the Russian Navy
Damnit, I still want that wooden skiff! Turn the ship into a restaurant/night club/hotel/museum.
That last photo looks like a Star Wars character’s face.
Surprised it hasn’t been vandalized yet.
Flagship of the Russian Navy!
Krivak class frigate. The only type of Red Navy ship I actually saw at sea when I was in the USN during the Cold War. Nice video of some in better days here

Nobody underestimates what Russia could achieve with this ship – thankfully it is effectively decommissioned.
