    1960s: Soviet Children

    19
Posted on April 5, 2011 by team

These photos were all shot in 1969 in the Soviet Union. Maybe somebody will recognize in these pretty children themselves or their mothers and fathers?

    A young football player.

    In the sun.

    Strawberry.

    In flowers.

    A song.

    A little housewife.

    A camomile.

    A girl with chickens.

    A turtle.

    An embroideress.

    A lady-cook.

    In the garden.

    Hello, Summer!

At least they had free health-care, a higher literacy rate and schools that don’t serve pizza and doughnuts.

Don’t know why people have to comment on the Soviet government and communism in all these series. Little kids are the same everywhere. Thanks for the post.

Their parents survived famines, wars, and gulags at least long enough to reproduce.

Never mind soviet times, but todays kids are found with “BRATZ®” dolls and MC Donld´s© in their hands, owing $ 50 000 fast loans before they turn 5.

They want to look like barbie dolls and think the universe exists in “da club.”
