    Unimaginable Junkyard Flat

A man once was called to install internet cable in one flat. On arriving he was shocked to see such a junkyard. But you’ll be amazed that it is a perfectly fine living place for a not-completely-sane woman. Welcome inside! Watch your feet!

These people just take everything they can carry from their local dumpsters and bring it all home. I heard a lot on TV about people with this kind of mental problems, especially its very difficult for family members to deal with their relatives obsession.

This is rather common in Russia especially among the survivors of the Great War.

My very first apartment in Russia was rented from an old woman who’s place looked very much like this one. Every possible flat surface had something on it and the only way to walk was on little pathways.

After she died her daughter emptied the place out. It took three large trucks to cart all the garbage away.

Sadly, among all that garbage were a few gems that I did not get to salvage.

What’s a framed invitation to Lenin’s inauguration worth?

My exwife has this problem and her hoarding behaviour led to the demise of our marriage. It is worst than being with an alcoholic!

Some people hoard animals like rats or cats. Most of that is trash so it is easy to get rid of.I saw a guy on a television program about hoarding who had 2 rats. Both rats escaped into his wall and multiplied into over a thousand rats.He lived in his garage because his house was taken over.
