Only In Russia You May See, Part 3

    44
Posted on January 21, 2011 by team

Another part of “Only in Russia…”. Santa preparing for the holidays.

    Unusual Lada

He came to watch the laser show..

    A strong 1-cowpower engine.

    Extreme maneuvering on the air-conditioner.

    Wedding gone wrong..

    Don’t play with fluffy kittens.

We do have bears on the streets of Russia.

    Everybody likes McDonalds.

    Monument to Santa.

Can’t take my eyes off of you…

    Nice apartment.

Building on a large scale in Moscow – that’s what we call innovation.

Pussia – the land of pusses.

    Hammer and sickle.

That’s the way Russian constructors usually lay the bricks.

    Jack? What is it?

    Stylish tires.

    Bathhouse for the homeless.

That’s how the posters “WANTED” are made in Russia.

    Waiting for summer

Which of them is the owner of the dog? Your suggestions.

One of the common river trips.

    Weight. A village style.

    Russian Robocop.

Now that’s an intelligent shot of the “hammer and sickle.”
Comrade Lenin (Ulyanov) died on this day in 1924. I think his wounds from Kaplan’s assassination attempt helped speed his rapid decline in health. I think his strokes damaged his rationalism and “long view.” Can’t change history: I believe he was more right than wrong. But misjudging Stalin was one big wrong. (And I don’t believe he believed in Father Frost)
And thanks Arch for agreeing w. me on the neo-Tsarist decadence.
