This is what the USSR looked in the bird's eye view when Google Maps didn't exist. One could only see this from a plane...
Russia, Kurganskaya Oblast
Cool, in fact one of the first commersials like that was a svaticka logo, changing color diffenret to the surrending forest by autumn, and olly visible from the air. (Today that logo has been partly removed and erased…)
Yeah, the place is in CZ and it is not clear whether it is a true story or a legend. Also, it is not clear whether it is svastika or “Hitler”. The trees in question are larchs. I have never seen the place.
The last time I looked at that many overhead shots of Russian landscape, I was looking for drop zones. My, how times change.
Americans need a good beating as received by the Germans and Japanese to beat the love of war out of them.
Easy to support war when it’s on the other side of the world.
We won’t be beaten, at least not in the way you mean, because we’ll be sold out first by our politicians, and right now China is the highest bidder.
Can’t imagine a land war on the American mainland, with two massive moats on both sides.
It’s been a long time since the US has fought a power that could fight back, mano a mano.
Agreed. If the USA goes down, it will be because America was sold out to countries like China. 100,000 Americans went to their deaths in Korea and Vietnam, and we turn around and create a communist dictatorship with the economy of a capitalist powerhouse. I will never be lured into thinking war is ok on idealogical grounds, that’s BS, for any country.
Just like crop circles, except more capitalistic
Nazi art http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_swastika
This is cool. I’ve seen pictures of places in Asia where they grow different types of rice (different colors) to create all sorts of cool designs.
very very cool.
Crop circles dude, spacemen have nothing better to do than to write messages in wheat.
