Fried Or Frightening Eggs?

This dish is not a culinary masterpiece; it’s just a kind of funny joke-dish. Perhaps this article would better fit Halloween, but it’s always funny to see amazed eyes of your nearest and dearest, isn’t it?

To cook this weird meal we need: eggs, butter, species and red cabbage.

Crack the eggs and separate yolks from whites, very carefully.

After that, we must extract red cabbage sap. A juicer or grater and cheesecloth can be used. We don’t need much sap.

Then we add the sap to the whites. If we have taken 4 eggs, we need one teaspoonful of cabbage sap to make our dish acid-green (fallout style), but if we overdo it, the fried eggs will be dark blue.

We mix it, but do not shake it up – in order to get realistic egg-structure of the dish.

Then we start frying the “whites” as usual…

and add yolks then!

Salt and pepper by taste.

The dish is ready to scare your family! Bon appetit!

    showing them on a white plate after cooking would have gotten the point across better…

    atm they just look uncooked in the pan.

    Yeah, this isn’t unknown… my grandmother would take red cabbage, and add it to soup at the end of cooking, and cook it for just a few minutes to get blue soup… if you cook it too long, the blue goes away to “yuck” color.
