The Most Effective Russian Diet?

Posted on November 21, 2010 by team

Probably most of us have seen the movie „Lord of the War“. Good movie, by the way. Less of us have heard, that the movie is supposed to be based on the life of Russian Viktor But, currently waiting for the sentence in some distant prison in Thailand.

Viktor But was born in 1967 in Dushnabe, Taiikistan and graduated from Moscow military institute of foreign languages. Is 1991 he established his own business of air transportation to Africa. In 90ies was repeatedly mentioned in CIA documents related to illegal arms trade until in March 6, 2008 Viktor But was arrested in Bangok. Almost year and half later But was found not guilty based on lack of evidence. As US government appealed, But is expecting new trial to be held during 3 years.

On these pics you may see how Victor looked like in March 2008 when was arrested, and today. Rather effective diet, isn’t it?

  4. Macsen says:

With all of the fascist, mass murdering dictators that the US has trained in their “School of the Americas”, and the tons of weapons of all kinds sold, and being sold, to these murderers, I think his case just high lights the yanks hypocrisy. Jail does seem to have put him in a healthier condition though.

      waaaah, yanks, waaahhh

The man was almost single-handedly responsible for providing the weapons used in genocides in Africa. It’s not only the “yanks” that want to see this guy burn. But not surprising that a jealous, anti-American fool like you would just whine about Americans in any subject.

Looks like rice and noodles doesn’t agree with Mr. But. He will likely fatten after he arrives at Club Fed.

  6. Name required says:

    Apparently he also got herpes.

  11. Baron says:

why he keeps scratching his “balls”?

  12. Misha@Canada says:

A guy who’s an international arms dealer goes into a Thai jail and several years later comes out looking like a million bucks! It looks like he was at a spa and took the Jenny Craig program. Unreal. We’ll see what happens to him when the Americans get him on a steady diet of McDonald’s burgers impregnated with growth hormones. This is one Russian arms dealer that’ll never see his day in court. His pipes will be clogged up. Moreover, American food has killed more people than Russian guns will ever accomplish.

  13. neblogenso says:

He’s a competitor to US in arm dealing, so naturally he will be imprisoned for a long time. US sells much more of their weapons to the same Africa countries, so don’t tell anything about gun problems, both US and Victor has the same guilt. Anyway he will be replaced by someone else in the gun market.

  14. Renate van Laer-Hein says:

Victor But is a thoroughbread businessman. His services were appreciated by the U.S. and quite a few other people. He obliged!!!
Suddenly, he becomes the scape goat. Justice must, of course, be done but completely without a trace of self-indulgence. Impartiality, is the secret word that impose itself.
Can we count on a quick fair judgement of this unfortunate man, that actually lived a life of discretion and humility. I wish him a fair deal. If it is possible, I salute him with the present.

nothing beats a diet of one handful of rice a day
you take in 100 calories yet you burn 2400
